The 75th Ranger Regiment, also known as Army Rangers, are a United States Army light infantry special operations force part of the United States Army Special Operations Command.The Regiment is headquartered at Fort Benning, Georgia and is composed of one special troops battalion and three Ranger battalions.The primary mission of the Regiment is to conduct forcible entry operations in hostile or sensitive environments worldwide and its secondary mission is to conduct special operations raids.
