Description

This skull was hand-drawn and colored with pen and ink. Traditionally, sugar skulls are eaten during Mexico’s Day of the Dead, which is a time to honor and pray for loved ones who have passed away. They are made out of cane sugar and brightly decorated with items such as icing, feathers, colored foil, and beads.
